International Golf Club
of Grenoble Bresson
designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, is an undulating
course with imposing views over the Belledonne massif and the
town of Grenoble. The course layout is technically advanced and
highly strategic. Amongst the lake, woods, hills and streams,
each of the 18 holes fits perfectly into the relief of the Alpine
foothills.. |

Golf Club de Lyon,
Fred Hawtree, the famous English golf course designer,
creator of prestigious Parisian golf courses, designed "les
Brocards" course (the Roe Deers) in 1964.
Each hole is in its own tree lined avenue. The trees are never
far away from the fairways. The rough is dense and therefore
punishing. This classic course is much harder than it looks when
teeing off on the 1st hole.
Hugues Lambert, creator of magnificent mountain golf
courses, designed "les Sangliers" course (the
Wild Boars) in 1991. This world famous and modern course
is capable of hosting Championships of the highest level. 9 of
its 18 holes have water hazards. This difficulty, in addition
to its length (7399 yards), forces the player to have the power
of a Wild Boar and the subtlety of a Roe Deer.
